'The Way Out' is an easy read yet packed full of biblical teaching and wisdom. It functions as a handbook on the topic of homosexuality and also provides the practical "way out” for those who are struggling with their sexuality. The chapter entitled “Understanding the Spiritual Influences Behind Homosexuality” opened my eyes to see yet more clearly the link between homosexuality, spiritual strongholds and one's self perception. I truly believe this book should be in everyone’s library.

Hi, my name is Daisy and I’m living in South Africa. I met Tyeesha in Michigan as she shared her testimony at a conference event called “Coming Together Live 3”. I was one of the speakers at this event. I listened to as many testimonies as I could, but one stood out the most for me. The way Tyeesha spoke about her life and how God saved her out of her sinful life, and the mission God has for her, really stuck with me. She has a mission to teach the church about the LGBTQ community by helping the church understand their way of life and their mindset, in order to prepare the members of the church to receive them into the church. When reading a new book, it typically takes me a few weeks to finish it. There are a few times, when I grab a book and I can not put it down. She uses her story to bring the reader closer to their own healing in their journey. As you read along, your heart is being transformed if you truly allow the Holy Spirit to reveal past and present pains that are hindering you. Her vulnerability brought me closer to identifying brokenness in my life that I was avoiding.
